Our team of 4 have devotions, and then get our job assignments from our supervisor, David. (A third couple failed to show up!) We start at 8 AM and end at 3 PM. Which is long enough in the heat.
Work projects:
• Ladies – clean the two houses that are converted into sleeping and eating quarters for larger groups without RV units.
• Guys – General maintenance, power washing, painting, etc. on homes to prepare them for new homeowners
• Both – organize the “Tool House”:
Separate hand tools from power tools
Separate electrical, plumbing, painting, etc. supplies
Separate screws, nails, bolts, etc.
Finished sweeping up today! Looks great!
We also worked at a ReStore shop, 3 times – general organizing and cleaning

Pleasant surprises:
- We can use the bathroom in a group house, which is more spacious that the RV!
- We can use the kitchen too!
- A lunch from a local restaurant is delivered once a week.
- Among the myriads of graffiti on the walls, was a welcome message in Khmer!

Two weeks with a lot of variety, and the site is now ready for more volunteers. And we are now official RV Care-A-Vanners – see certificate!

Love the blog posts, Khmer welcome & certificate! Love you ♥
